Looks great and runs really well on my Pre Minus. Unfortunately, since it is impossible to score a goal, it gets old quickly. After 20 games I have yet to score a goal. All shots go waaay over the crossbar, or alternatively, you have the option of chipping the ball directly to the opposing goaltender, to save stoppage time. Very frustrating to work the ball all the way down the field just to hand it over to the goalie. Perhaps changing the skill level from "impossible" and "insane" to "human" and "difficult, but still human" this game could be salvaged.

Best game I've played on my phone but it gets messed up. I've played about 10 seasons on manager mode combined but the stats of the players get messed up which is really upsetting.

Great game! It took me a while to get used to the controls but it is a lot of fun. Looking forward to Fifa 11!

Amazing game, gotta get it, no matter what

It's good up until season 3 of manager mode. My players started to get point deducted and now are a piece of crap. The line out get's messed up everytime I start the game... If EA fixes this then it's a 5* game.

I press download and nothing happens.

Not bad graphics for a phone game, easy to control, the only downside that I found was that the Mexican soccer league wasn't included. Overall, I give it 5 Stars.

Graphics are ok....game itself is pretty fun other than that...

Great App so far. Very entrertaining. Took a few games to get used to the onscreen play and all the full functions.

I had a whole faq written here but oh well, only game I play on pre as well because of there being no "too many cards" error. I play on professional, and would like to know how to increase the multiplier. I tried world class (and got pwnd) and still don't know how to up it. Any help?

Like a lot of newbies, had a little trouble controlling the players at first. Almost quit after two games. Now, I love it....playing manager mode..would love t know how to get a multiplier.

Great game!!! Graphics are awesome for a phone. Many teams and players. Would recommend for any soccer fan or sports gamer. EA needs to have madden or nba live on here.

I agree with the positive comments. N.B. - in manager mode, you must exit the program while a game is in progress to keep your lineup the same.

This game is hands-down the best sports game on the pre.

Games pretty kick ass

I've played FIFA on PC for years and this mobile version doesn't disappoint. Pretty amazing really given the limitations of the interface and screen size. The HUD does take some getting used to and it occasionally causes your fingers to block some of the action at the corners of the screen (like the player you are controlling can get under your thumb :) ). But overall a good solution. Also smooth play and incredibly little battery drain.

Amazing game, hints for ppl who say the game is too hard. I play on pro, and lose more than I win but I still win. You really have to master the controls. On amateur shoot while running near the outside of the box, on semi-pro it's harder to make long range, passing is key here, pass back and for to your strikers or lob one in with good timing, and then shoot a control shot (tap B twice). Semi-pro is all about tactics. On pro, you have to out play the comp, try to get corners, it's the easiest way to score, albit it is still extremely hard. I've lost more than I've won on pro, but the matches are much more fun. As for world class, that's all on you, my closet match was 2-1 and I only scored because of a penalty kick. So if you've won on that difficulty congrats to you, I'm still working on it! Don't get frustrated practice! Going through manager mode helps by upping the difficulty each year, you should try that! Anyways, this is my fav PDK app so far, because it's so fun, and I've never gotten the "too many cards" error. Even if you don't like soccer, I highly recommend this game. BTW I play w/ USA in quick matches and tournament play, and the Houston Dynamo manager mode.

In the real soccer world think of how hard it is to score that's boring old soccer for ya jk lol

It has the entire Brazilian league. Not sure about Argentina though. Very addictive game, you have to rely on long distance scoring though. Scoring from close in is almost impossible.

After amateur difficulty the game becomes nearly impossible. Your team won't respond to the ball unless you select the player. Its very frustrating. Hopefully EA will work on that. This is the only reason this game isn't worth the 3.50. It really needs to be worked on. Especially because of the difficulty. Everything else is great

Outstanding impossible game! The gameplay looks just like watching the World Cup on Sprint TV! No too many cards problems either, so good job EA. My only complaint is that even at the amateur level it is impossible to score. I've played several games and I've lost every one 1 or 2 to 0. Perhaps in an update EA could make scoring a goal possible?

Apparently my previous review disappeared? Strange. Anyway, the gameplay is fun and the controls are decent. Memory management is great - no "too many cards" errors. My biggest problem is that the game keeps screwing up my players' ratings and roster between matches in manager mode. I'll suddenly find that my 76 overall goalie is now a 28, and he's slotted as a midfielder. Not good. Outside of that, it's a very enjoyable game.

Ok it's my first review I dl d many games... I have an xbox the only game I play is fifa. This is a great version for my pre and love it. Better than soccer 2010 but I think that one is easier. Great gfx and depth of modes and play. BUY IT NOW A+

Absoultely incredible! I thought Tiger Woods was the best Pre game until I got this. The graphics are smooth and super realistic. The gameplay is great without being too easy. Playable right away! To add to it, EA has done wonders with the too many cards error. I'm also amazed at how little battery suck this game is. I take it off the charger at 100% and after a game at 2 minute halves with OT and shootout I'm only down to 91%! For comparison, a game of NFL 2010 (also awesome) for the same amount of time drains me to 74%. I don't know how they do it, but I'm going to buy mainly EA games from now on.

So, with that said EA, how about NHL 2010 and Command and Conquer? I'd so buy those!

This game is fu*king amazing! I've played nova and knockout boxing and it killllls them both, combined. So fun so many different ways to play. There is a big diff from amateur to semi pro but you get used to it. Sometimes the controls do some weird things and offense is much easier than D because your team mates are complete idiots on D but you just need to switch players alot. Manager modes fun I just don't know how to increase the multiplier, if anyone knows how to let me know. Enjoy!

Very fun game, difficulty from amateur to semi pro is big difference. But the game is well worth tree fidy.

Great game! Gameplay is generally good, although a virtual joystick is never perfect. As other reviewers have noted, EA did a good job with memory management, so I've never encountered the "too many cards" error. My only complaint is that in manager mode, it keeps screwing up my roster - putting a striker as goalkeeper, etc. I have to fix my lineup before every game, and it gets annoying.

Update: In between matches in manager mode, the game is now screwing up the ratings for my players - my 76% keeper is suddenly 18%, etc. This completely hamstrings manager mode. Dropped to 3 stars until they fix it.

This is an EXCELLENT game. The controls are almost as excellent (hence the 4 stars) if you are on a pre plus, you consitantly run the risk of touching the gesture area and minimizing the game. You can change the controls layout to minimize this, but it still comes up every now and again. Gameplay is fun and I can see myself spending many hours playing and building up a career. EA continue to put out quality products for webOS.

I've been waiting for this game since the first games from EA were launched. 100% lives up to my expectations! Great Game!

A good game but cannot find the C button they say so you can run faster.

Runs very smoothly on my old launch-day Sprint Pre; only get a "Too Many Cards" message from time to time, but it doesn't stop the app and gives me the option to resume immediately without affecting gameplay or worse, closing the app completely. This is how all PDK-based apps should behave.

Fantastic programming from their dev team and well worth your money--especially during the 50% off sale.

Great game. Give me Brazil and Argentina and this gets 5 stars. Kinda disappointed that they're not included.

Excellent game... A real soccer game for the pre on webos. The only thing I am struggling with is that I cannot seem to find the country mode to play national teams. I like the fact that you can save a game and resume later. The ability to play with others in a multiplayer setup is also exciting!

Nice treat for all football soccer fans I never review but we need a lot more buyers for the multiplayer mode awesome app thanks.

Very good game! Exactly what I was looking for. Controls take a little bit to get used to and the speed of the players as well. Well worth the money and great game for soccer fans. A must have in my opinion!

Pretty good at least the players names are acurate here not like in the other soccer game by gameloft. Sound is good and the game is pretty fun.

GREAT APP! Gameplay is awesome and the controls are easy. Definitely worth $3.50.

Finally a good game for the pre!! Lots of functions and teams for a cell game. The on screen controls take a bit to get use to but aren't hard to learn. Well worth the price.

Game is good. Sounds are good. Of course pad is always a little tricky on the palm pre...... But argentina, or brasil team are not there !!! Wth ?? I'll keep testing the game. 3 stars for now.
