vCardIO is an open-source utility to import/export contacts from/to a vCard (vcf) file on the SD card. Currently supports phones, contact methods and photos.

New in 0.32: bug fixes... (see website for details)
Doesn't import vcard 3 files properly. Just hangs and puts invisible contacts in.

Not clear how or if the import from SMS works. I enabled this but an existing SMS vcard didn't get imported.

Great way to backup your contacts and/or to import them in Gmail! Even contact photo's are saved.

Solved my problems w/migration from palm OS. Must install file manager and select "import sms contacts". Took 3 tries, but got the contacts xferred.

Ok but incompatible with ES File Explorer. Remember that the spaces are not allowed in the vcf filenames.

Import seems to work fine, but there's a bug in handling vCard preview from GMail app. Have to use browser. 5 stars when fixed.

Needed to install a file manager for best use. Did a decent job of importing to my CLIQ from my Mac, but didn't import #s in "other" category.

Fichier vide si 'export all' pas coché. Contacts apparaissent ds journal, pas ds liste. Préfère *NixSync.

W czasie importu większych plików pojawiają się błędy ale program idzie dalej.nie rozpoznaje duplikatów.

Did a good job importing contacts from a backup of phonebook on Sony Ericsson w880. But slow - 30s to import 200 contacts. UI needs file choosers.

Simple et efficace. A sauvé mes contacts du bug de Mybackup avec la synchro gmail.(j etais sans synchro init avec juste un mybackup des nums)
