This application assigns a fixed domain name to your
Android phone even though the IP address can change.

Recent changes:
A better fix for detecting IP address when tethered.

Works perfect on my EVO with froyo. I used it for PAW web server amd AndFTP server.

Reports intenal ip only... motorola backflip... doesnt work... you need to input code to detect external ip!

Doesnt work. It updates the dyndns with 127.0.0.1 and complains im behind a proxy but anyone can still connect through my 3g ip.

Workshop fine, bit my account for blocked for flooding, ie to frequent updates.

Very useful, for with ftp and Shootme.

Should have option to only update if not connected to WiFi. Hostname was flag for abuse in one day.

I keep getting blocked bc of abuse. Would be nice if there was a setting for 'only report when wifi is off'

Amazing, amazing, amazing. Does just what I wanted it to. This in hand with SDcardWifiAccess allows me to access my SD card on any network. Love it!

Works beautifully. It just does its job silently in the background.

This works very well. My only feature request is an option to get external IPs so that wifi doesn't set the domain to 192.168.1.123.

Concept tres intéressant, mais n'a pas l'air de fonctionner avec tous les domaines (j'utilise *.mine.nu), erreur java lors de la mise a jour.

Despite it reporting a LAN IP, it does actually update to the real IP -- don't let that confuse you!

Add a Maximum update frequency and this app will be perfect

I love the idea but service keeps stopping and settlings getting lost.

Good and useful app but it needs to be careful how frequently it updates dyndns.org as one of my domains was recently shutdoen for update abuse!

Great app. Works with orange.at too. You must know the right APN!! ;-)

Hint: not all network do nat,eg orange.at issues externally visible IPs

Good idea but Boot option wont stay disabled. Process restarts every time it it killed. Please fix.

Cannot detect wan IP if on a NAT

Provides local ip to dyndns - no good for tmobile uk as behind a proxie. would be better if external ip was given, still useless as forwarding needed

No use. 2g/3g is behind network address translation (NAT). And home wifi routers have dyndns clients builtin.

Nice... i can see where this will be useful when sshing into a server with ip wrappers

Good idea... but it'd be meaningless unless you had an external IP or a forwarded port.
