Ever get Android Applications in your email? Frustrated that the Gmail application won't let you install them? This small utility enables you to install these Applications without jumping through hoops. Simply choose APKatcher after pressing the Preview button in Gmail, then press OK to install.

It's not for everyone...
Not working for me... No popup... Help! DX2.2

Cumple su cometido a perfección. Indispensable para eclair o menos que como yo se envien las apps por mail. Por suerte en Froyo no hace falta ya.

This app isn't necessary on 2.2. You can just use the regular package installer for an apk in an email.

Easy to use! Saves having to hook up to pc to install app received via email. Should be default feature of android or gmail. X10.

This just let's you install apps that are attached to email, witch I think you can do already

When i go to use it, i click apkatcher, and iit shows me a page on how to use it or something with the only option being "cancel" any help?

Works from gmail, but gets in the way if apk to be installed from other source. It then starts but gets stuck at info screen.
