WinampRemote enables you to control Winamp running on your PC with your Android phone. Almost everything can be controlled, standard controls like play, pause, stop, next and previous but also full playlist editing and equalizer are supported.
NOTE: you need to download the server app. from

Works on my evo. Easy to use & start. Simple functions but does what it is supposed to do well

Works great, only volume is a bit tricky and u can only play the tracks in your current playlist but that doesnt matter.

Playlist didn't work until I set the right path on the server side, GUI and icon could use some work. Great app though.

It's pretty excellent, however could use a toggle shuffle button. The PC process also causes slowdown on my computer. Good app nonetheless.

Works beautifully. The buttons and outlook could use a bit of work, but the product really works and works well. Galaxy S.

für playlist, im winamp ordner einen ordner names winamp.m3u herstellen und winamp.m3u reinschrieben pfad ist C:\Users\Name\AppData\Roaming\Winamp

Works good, minimized tray and everything...all u gotta do is highlight ur the address bar where ever ur music is at and copy it on the phone app

Tolles app! Grundfunktionen funktionieren perfekt. Nur die Lautstärke. Geht manchmal nicht. (Nexus one).

Klappt wunderbar mit milestone 2.1. Wer seine lan-ip nicht kennt: in der command prompt "ipconfig" eingeben, da stehts :)

Works BUT I noticed audio sounded like it was playing double. Turns out it made all media play double audio streams. It was the server.

If you leave the playlist empty and save profile, it will crash and need reinstall.

It does what is says on the tin. There are a few drawbacks though: -saving profile is unclear -GUI could use some work -Not possible to add main dir

Works BUT I have many codecs on my computer set up nicely for all my media. After installing server app all media sounded weird, music included.

Klappt prima mit htc magic. Ab und zu kleine aber nicht störende Fehler wie: Timebar die sich aufhängt. Nur das App neu starten und alles geht wieder.

Agree with anthony it needs to be more like iampremote with a winamp server plugin rather than a whole nother runing program server ugly and shakey ui

Very limited. Ugly ui, and client/PC application is terrible. We need something like iAmpRemote from iPhone.
