it's useless at all &need more development.
This is useless as you can't call skype accounts through net. You also can't use this in countries without skype to go. Don't download!

Sign-in times out everytime on my HTC Hero (Android 1. 5). Will uninstall and wait for an improved release.

I would give it 5 stars, but this defeats the entire purpose of skype, which is free voip skype-to-skype calling.

No, it doesn't do voice, but I am currently in China where I have no service; only WiFi. In my case, it is a program that keeps me connected.
The point of Skype is free Skype-to-Skype calls. Not to be charged.

Seems to work ok, little crashing, good quality sound. Calls local number before connecting to Skype num or other country. Fine if you have free mins.

Surprisingly good! However, Skype needs to be more frequent with updates! Remember, this is a Google phone which is constantly being updated!

Why is Skype free on a pc or laptop and on some mobile networks, but not free off a HTC that uses proper internet rather than mobile net

It was a great app, now it's useless the number they used to connect the calls it's not valid anymore. Now it's just waste of space on my phone.
Charges for airtime...I'd rather use fring instead.
Unfortunately uses minutes on your cell phone plan in USA. Good to call overseas with on weekends when minutes are free. Few settings options.

I get a busy signal or dialing error when i try to make outgoing calls
It stinks, I can't log n after u log off, keeps say wrong password but I can log n on my desk top.

Calls don't work over VOIP... only thing that does is chat. Come on Skype sort it out.

This is a HUGE battery suck (70% since I unplugged though I've been watching YouTube). And it's not especially reliable.
Glad to know Skype really cares about android users, still being in beta and being gimped soo much as to be useless is a great feature. Thanks.

It was very easy to sign in.I can chat any time.the only different thing is that calls might go directly on cell phone number that I didn't try yet
