Extremely basic functionality. No emoticons. Doesn't notify when new messages are received. Can't click on links. I really want an update.
Skype to Skype isn't free, so this is pretty much worthless.

janky app. uses skype credit to receive calls.unclear if it uses your credit even if you have a skype subscription. they need to improve this app ASAP
Only works over a provider-based data connection, not wifi, so this app is useless outside US on Verizon Moto Droid. Waiting for "real" version.
Not a big issue over voip. Would like file transfer though.

Cant even login due to needing a number (which i dont have) make it like the iPhone's app and remove the number and this would work. Sounds good tho.

Won't even let me do a Skype to Skype call. It tries to route the call through Verizon somehow, which somehow fails every time. The app doesn't work.
I like it. I can text my bestfriend how just moved to Ireland, and it doesn't cost me a thing. I haven't tried to make any calls off Skype

Not a Good idea make it for data no time
No indication of origin of call(no way to distingish that it's a skype diverted) when receiving calls. This will cost you a fortune for local calls.

when entering your mobile number during sign up, you have to put a 1 in front first or else your access number becomes an international number.

The best thing about skype calls is that they are free! But not here though! Only useful for chat.

Can't even sign in. Therefore useless.
Really bad. Worse than the windows client. Doesn't stay loved in when you use a different app, can't chat to groups and history cache is too long.

I believe you should be able to cal skype to skype for free, instead you call the number they have listed. May as well just use your cellphone plan.

You have to pay for calls, because it uses gsm connection, and not data connection.

No, it doesn't do voice, but I am currently in China where I have no service; only WiFi. In my case, it is a program that keeps me connected.
