PureRSS is an RSS and Atom feed reader (most news services and websites publish RSS feeds) that is completely self contained within the phone application.

1.3 will be the last major version released as we are working on a new application to supercede it. More details in our blog.

Takes forever to load, force close, & when it finally loads it just offers to play podcast in browser. Don't need app for that.

Wow an RSS reader that actually plays notifications when you set it to. I actually prefer manually entering feeds rather than give my google info.

Why does it allow only 50 articles in a feed? It deletes older articles.

Atom-Feeds: Browser öffnet nicht. RDF OK. Alte Einträge bleiben beim Löschen erhalten -> Problem bei Wechsel von Atom auf RDF. Umlaute problemlos.

Forced refresh almost always fail, missing temp.xml. No ads, simple interface good notification/refresh settings. App has promise if bugs fixed
