Maps could do with being updated more frequently. I added my street to osm 6 months ago and still not on this map. It is on all the others.

Don't expect detailed information for anything outside of major cities. Won't even come close to suburban neighborhood data

Fairly accurate, doesn't require the internet and it's free. I think users can help increase accuracy and detail via another app?? HTC Desire 2.2

So, nach dem Update stürzt das App nicht mehr ab. Habe auch ein Desire mit 2.2. Also ran an das Update.

Vector maps rule! This is easier to use than OsmAnd, but really lacks the search and report-an-error features one would expect with OpenStreetMap data

Difficult to find a comfortable zoom level that shows enough detail. Otherwise very useful when cell reception is poor.

Very useful as backup navigator. But when you uncheck 1 map, it downloads all maps again. Not all maps are detailed. Needs flag location.

Good offline map. But really needs waypoints though, to flag different locations. Otherwise not much use for finding a destination.

Such good maps at low memory usage - easy download - mindblowing. One wish: contour-lines (Höhenlinien) like in OSM cycle maple would be perfect.

Perfect, great when abroad for dodging insane roaming charges. Add pins that could sync with Google would get 5 stars. HTC Desire.

Gut gemacht - lokal installierte Karten sind eine wichtige Eigenschaft, die ich nicht missen möchte. Toll wäre noch eine Suche und Routing, evtl Navi.

Good offline map but no navigation big turn off. If navigation is added, it would greatly rival the Nokia Ovi Store. Overall good offline map

Richtig gute Idee... ABER Es fehlen einfach wichtige Funktionen, wie Suchen oder Routen, etc. wenn es diese gäbe, gäbe es auch 5 Sterne.

There is no facility to search, and no option to get directions. Only shows 'My Location'. Offline maps, yes, but not much help otherwise.

Useful, but: no frequent (or very rare) map updates, no App2SD (3.2 MB memory hog). Now using Maps(-) from coderminus.
