Not as good as Gmail Notifier -- which doesn't require polling and is much smaller.

an option to also have a popup notification would be awesome also. Definitely needs sound options! Fugly icon.

Helps me get sound for EVERY gmail arrival, but needs custom sound option and ability to launch gmail account or other app when clicking.

Excellent app. Solves a serious flaw with mail notifications. Would be perfect if you could select custom notification tones.
