Doesnt work on my Moment. It just says it's scanning but nothing happens. Installed it 3 times but doesnt work

This is the freaking best app on my phone by far!
Another proprietary format from Microsoft. This app can't read standard tags and other apps can't read MS tags. What's the point?

Fine app but nobody uses microsoft tags. Get the barcode reader. It also redirects you to web pages

This is a dangerous app. Look at the privacy statement. MS collects your phone's unique id! It reads your #s and can dial whatever it wants! No way!

Scans well but takes alot from phone
Downloaded it only to use for a few easter eggs in a video game. Did work on Droid. Haven't seen Tags anywhere else that would be useful, so UI now.

Microsoft is late to this game. QR Codes are the standard. I installed hoping to use it, but I never see these tags. I hope they give up soon.

I can scan color as well as black & white tags on my Evo.

Does what it says on the tin. doesn't allow you to do much with a contact if you happen to scan a business card and want to create at contact with it

Beim den ersten Tags versagt, das ist halt der Nachteil wenn die Infos auf Microsoftservern statt im Tag stehen und dann die Server nicht liefern.

Works well should include other tags and bar codes. The only place I ever see ms tags are in ms advertisements I see qr codes all over now.

HTC Evo 2.1 I made my own tags for secured passwords, printed then I scan when I forget a password. All are encrypted.
Another barcode scanner. Useful for Microsoft's tag, but other programs work better with other tags.
It doesnt read all barcode but it does read a barcode none others do, and then it does cool stuff all by itself related to the MS tag it reads.
Used it with the tags in golf digest and was able to watch the instructional videos on the course. Love this app.
Didn't work when tried it to read bar code for ab app. Others that work are available

Well you can't find many tags in the real world is because Microsoft just launched this in Jan.2010 and its been still in beta. Its new idiots.
Must use Microsoft servers to decode the barcode... privacy concern! Not really useful for storing any data.

The codes look better than normal QR codes, but as you can't make them yourself, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to install this app for...
Does what it says, but seems a bit pointless when you could use a QR code instead, and not end up looking like the 2012 Olympic logo.
Not much point. Microsoft tags are rare, and offer no benefit over regular barcodes. It makes more sense to use an app that reads regular barcodes.

Needs to read bar codes and qr codes.. I've never seen a Microsoft Tag, but until they become more popular.. allow the program to read more than tags
I don't understand the point. No faster or more accurate than plain old qr codes.
Pay attention to setup and read everything. They want your location info!
Let's reinvent the wheel and in the process gather some info on android user should at least suport STANDARD codebar and QR no use for me

This is the first MS product i have tried in close to a decade and is the same old crap, maybe il download it again if i ever see a ms tag in the wild
See the usage terms. This uses patented technology, which means Microsoft tells what *you* can do with it. Use QRCode instead.
All of the problems I used to have seem to be fixed, and the ugly icon is gone to boot. Now I like the app a lot.
Works well on my HTC Eris, but its be honest I've only used it a few times.

Tag is a great idea. Similar to QR codes with a little more functionality. Falls way behind in use in the real world.
They may be trying to profitize on this technology, but it doesnt matter to the end user. Only to the companies purchasing the licenses. Does the job.
