GET_ACCOUNTS , READ_CONTACTS , READ_SMS , WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE , com.google.android.gm.permission.READ_GMAIL , com.google.android.googleapps.permission.GOOGLE_AUTH , com.google.android.providers.gmail.permission.READ_GMAIL
How to use: On home screen, Menu->Add->Widgets->SMS Unread Count.

Needs to be able to put on bottom bar so basically need to be able to see when go to apps which it isn't there for me

I like it, but would give 5 stars if the HTC messaging icon wasn't oversized & fuzzy. Also needs to open to inbox if no new gMail. (EVO 4G)

Doesn't start the default SMS App, although handcent sms is set to be and as announced in the Q&A. Please fix this. Desire @ Froyo 2.2

Top notch application. Works great with SMS, Dialer and Gmail. I like that it open the Gmail inbox as opposed to the unread folder.

Works as a replacement for gmail unread count too, so you don't need two apps for basically the same purpose. Nice.

Works great most of the time, except for when it says I have unread messages when I don't. Neither rebooting nor uninstall works to correct this error
