InstaMapper is a free GPS tracking service. Use it to:

· track your phone online in real time

· share your location with friends and family

· record tracks and export them in a variety of formats

· recover lost phones (app can be activated remotely with an SMS message)

Free registration is required.
Remote sms cannot switch gps on,only the app. Gps must be running first

I liked it but installed it for an app that already runs on my phone for virus checking that also functions as a gps tracker.

Nose si es la aplicacion o el Milestone, pero tenia la misma aplicacion en un HTC Touch Pro 2 y agarraba satelites y transmitia en 30 segundos Maximos

Very accurate,works great but the VERY obvious ,"you are being tracked" is a deal breaker. I would pay for this app if this was concealed

Most usefull app for mobile phone ...ever Droid X set your refresh rate to 121 sec. And battery last all day :)

It works. If you don't want it to drain battery, turn off GPS. When you send an SMS to track it, it'll enable itself. Run tests with GPS/app off.

I would rate higher if it didn't suck the life out of my battery. Also force to run prog for days in order to run it inconspicuous mode, that sucks.

Pas mal sur le principe. Mais ne fonctionne pas sur Samsung Galaxy S (n'arrive pas a trouver la localisation, alors que le gps fontionne tres bien)

Zero - their website explains - vzw offers ability to send txt also.. u could also use friends phone or email.. 4* works already had to use! ;-)

Sucks battery. Requiring such a long run time before allowing conspicuous mode disable SUCKS!. No remote GPS enable is almost a dealbreaker.

Use 2g if you have net work problems its the phone or network fault with 3g (same goes for chat programs as well)
