This is a text-to-speech library for use by other applications.

It extends the functionality of the Android TTS API & is a preview of things to come for the next version.

Press "Menu" on the settings screen for a showcase of apps that use TTS.

If you have problems, please try removing your SD card and putting it back.

Folks, this doesn't do anything on its own. It makes other apps, like Google Translate, talk.

Fix slovak language pack. Accent is all wrong. Says auf instead of ahoy... Also add support for Japanese, chinese, and Portuguese!!!

Works good. To change the voice, open the app and go to default engine and deselect eSpeak TTS. Eris 2.1

I prefer the option of slow speak, because voice is a little robotic and seems to read literally everything including punctuation.Galaxy
