Enable Google Latitude and Launch Maps on ROOTED G1's ONLY in countries that it is disabled, e.g. UK.

Needs Superuser whitelist and latest firmware. If you've run Google Maps since last reboot, it will also need a reboot to stop the Maps app and refresh.

Brilliant app, sometimes says I'm in random places but think its when GPS goes down and uses GPRS locater.

Re-enables Latitude on Cupcake, but doesn't save status or picture. No 1 else has reported, so i guess i'm the lucky 1 w/ problems.

Absolutely outstanding tool, gps tracking spot although did take a few minutes. Directions using the map with notes to assist is a handy feature.

Works great. To use latitude you need to go into maps and select it from the menu.

Works great. Thanks. A little hint: you don't have to reboot. Just open the terminal, su, ps, kill X (X being the process number of the running maps)

Mixpix Some non US users don't have the latitude option on maps. I initially did but it later disapeared, so this app's pretty cool for people like me

Some things cant be done without root. Its the phones fault. If u want the apps, u have to get root, or stop complaining about it.
