Phonebook pre-cupcake is a new Address Book for your phone.
There is a new version called "Phonebook" which works on all versions of Android. To find it, click on "View more applications" below "About the developer".
The new version support:
* As default
* Clear activity log
* Add a call to contacts
* Birthday notification
I liked the functioning, but hated the layout..

Even when a call has ended, the default phonebook still pops up. Please fix and I will reinstall!

Great potential replacement for the Moto Droid built in contacts. 5 stars of you would give more lines to the Notes edit field. Now only has 3 lines.

Good layout and all.. but ill stick to the installed one because on droid I can sync my contacts with facebook. If u can get FB sync, ill use it

Reinstalled the pre-cupcake version and it work perfectly. Need to fix the updated version because it keeps force closing.

Cannot set as default on 1.6 and the updated version just force closes. So both are useless at the moment.

This app doesnt quite get 5 stars~as it is a bit slow, & doesnt always display my icons. However, it is a promising app, that i will keep 4 now.

It looks better but when you call someone it autpmatically takes you to the orginal phonebook so it deafets the purpose
