ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION , WRITE_SETTINGS
Shows the position, number and signal strength of GPS satellites. Displays your position, GPS accuracy, speed, acceleration and bearing. Bigger dots represent stronger signal. Compass included.

NOTE: Use this version only if you have not upgraded your phone to firmware 1.5 yet. Otherwise install 'GPS Status'

Would be nice if the display could be customized such as info layout, disabling parts of the display, and changing the colors.

Awesome App!! Requires no network coverage to work perfectly! A 'network free' plotting app or way to export GPS Status's long-lat would be great. Thx

Ui is way to simple its complicated. The green dot represents looking at your round noggin from above. Use with 3d globe and i will pay for it.

Great app, works much better outdoors, as do all handheld GPS devices, but this even works decent indoors near a window by at most 10 feet away.
