CellFinder uses both the GPS and Network location services to determine where the cell tower is in relation to you. The accuracy of the tower location depends on where you are - some areas have less accurate data.
Version 1.3 includes a few bug fixes and many requested features!

I am a cell tech and the tower locations on this app are WAY off! Ok for the layman but not a network tech.

Would be better if displayed map with cell tower even if no GPS signal. Now displays blank for map if indoors and unable to get GPS.
Great app and if u can't get it to stop searching exit it by pressing the back button instead of the home button
It found the nearest tower (1, 3 miles away, but I'm rural) but it won't stop searching with gps on my Hero. Had to uninstall and full reboot.

Doesn't seem to stop using GPS when you exit on the Hero.

Used this app 2 help TMo network engineers 2 locate bad cell site in area. Precise! BTW, not all cell sites r towers, do some research idiots.
Works, but eats battery like crasy. Please optimise the code, decrease the refresh time or something to use less power

Force closes after 30 or so secs of use. Never shows the cell site, just a line not far from my location?!
If you have any problems with force close, uninstall and install to fix it (remove data a well if that does not work)
Works great on the Hero. 5 stars for helping pick an apartment with good cell coverage!
