THIS APP IS FOR ROOTED PHONES ONLY!

AdFree removes most ads in the browser and other apps. It does this by nullifying requests to known hostnames serving ads.

If you have problems with this app, or you know of additional hostnames not being filtered, please comment in xda-developers.com forum so it can be fixed!

Adfree makes angry birds perform better by stopping the updating of ads. Nuff said.

Works w most (99%) apps. More frequently updated host files would probably resolve this. Thanks! Though

For new apps I'm pretty sure you need to update hosts and then restart your phone. Works great!

Of course it doesn't work on G2, it's not rooted yet! Works great on Cliq XT, can't imagine using free apps w/out it!

Awesome works perfect on Evo. Makes angry birds run like a paid version which they don't offer. I don't mind supporting dev but some need to be blockd
