Any Cut allows you to create Home shortcuts to anything! Popular shortcuts like directly calling a phone number or sending an SMS are supported. To use, just long-press an open area in Home & in the menu select Any Cut under the Shortcuts heading.
So simple, so useful. I use it to go to the advanced cell network screen (called phone info)

Makes some app icons tilt or get the edges cut off. Would be fantastic if it wasn't for this flaw.

Droid incredible: slow to the point of CPR, duplications in list of Activities, "can't find" my contacts!? Uninstalled.

Renaming icons causes font to not line up properly - HTC desire

The sole reson I installed this was to create a shortcut to my VPN settings section; but it cannot do that. uninstall.
Custom icon label text doesn't align with default on HTC desire.
Needs different looking widgets for direct dial and direct text and you have a contact pic. Otherwise excellent app

Auf dem HTC Desire stimmt die Anordnung von Icon und Schrift nicht mehr. Die Schrift überlappt das Icon. (Handcent SMS)
Really useful. Only downsides are that the edit doesn't work and many of the shortcuts it creates have small icons, which looks untidy.

Used it to turn off 3G when not in use w/o turning off cell. Save battery and no more leaky apps!

You should make custimizable icons. And have shortcuts to more than one activity
Works fine on droid, however activity list have to group by app names. Scrolling knob is missing there too. Edit shortcuts does not work at all
On the Motorola Droid, created shortcuts icons are messed up.
Really clever, but doesn't let you rename some widgets and changes the size of your shortcuts so distorts the layout a little bit.
