Annoyed by observing your WiFi connection switches with 2G/3G when your cell phone takes its pause?

This service will keep your Wifi connection on air, even if your phone's screen goes off.

1.5. bug fix

There is also an extended version (KeepWiFi locale) with Locale Plug-In and you can use to it say thank you.
Works great and allows really fast upgrading and synchronization

Gute Idee, funktioniert aber nur manchmal. Schlimmer ist das mein HTC Desire in der W-Lan übertragung extrem ausgebremst wird.

Can you add one feature - checkbox - turn on/off WiFi with this service - when I turn on service - WiFi should turn on too.

Great app. Keeps force closing on my x10 mini but works anyways. Thanks, sent out an update that fixed force closing in less than 10mins good job!

@Kg23, you can turn the status bar icon off. Press menu while in the app. Great app!! Works great in collaboration with Twonky...

Worked for a bit, then it locked the wifi off, i didnt touch the phone and the wifi was enabled and the lock was set to ON. Hmmm imma try "lock wifi"

Funktioniert zwar, provoziert jedoch einen android bug, so das manchmal keine datenverbindung mehr übers Netz möglich ist. (android1.5, hero)

Did its job for months. Not 1.5 compatible, but 1.5 has its own setting making the app obselete. Rest in peace, old friend.

Since 1.5 app has not done its job. Wifi keeps dropping..icon in the notification bar shows its on, but its not..update maybe needed.
